Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
